inverse trigs

I try attaining arcsin, arccos and arctan the way that the Trig tutorial specifies (type in regular function, then the 'X^-1' key, and I can't for the life of me get it to work...

It also says that you have to select the function name. Just double tap 'sin' and hit ^(-1) then.
